improving the processes in our hotel, training your colleagues, and making sure everything runs smoothly at the restaurant and at the bar. you ensure that all colleagues have the right tools to make our guests happy with our food and beverage services. and as the supervisor, you are responsible for the restaurant, the lobby & lounge bar, and the room service, together with our international team here in our big hotel. at mövenpick we make moments, do you?be limitless during your shift you make sure that everything runs smoothly. if a waiter cannot solve a complain, you jump in to help. you check that the orders are correct, and the employees are well supervised and trained, as you are not always on the floor. together with the whole team, you make sure that everything is going according to plan and at the end you hand the shift over neatly to the colleagues taking over. this way the colleagues are up to date. moreover, you are responsible for administrative tasks, such as processing and checking payments, and carrying out two annual staff evaluations, together with the (assistant) restaurant & bar manager. no limits to your abilities. in addition, you are:
responsible for welcoming the guests and making sure they feel hospitable with our food and beverage options. good service is our number one priority;
providing correct information about the drinks and dishes, and serve them appropriately;.
involved in complex questions, complaints or feedback from our guests;
responsible for supervising and training the employees;
making drinks and taking orders, while making small conversation with our guests;
preparing the restaurant for the dinner or cleaning up after breakfast;
refilling the drinks in the bar, so all drinks are available.

With 408 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, located on the IJ, ijVENUES, the Passenger Terminal and the Muziekgebouw, we offer the guests a truly memorable experience. A business event for 1,200 people or a romantic weekend getaway for two. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Guests can relax in the sauna or let off steam in our gym, then enjoy a meal made with our own products in the restaurant. Or they can take a seat at the bar for a delicious latte.
