improving the processes in our hotel, training your colleagues, and making sure everything runs smoothly at the front office. you achieve that all colleagues have the right tools to make the stay of our guests a success. this is the challenge you are taking up as a front office supervisor at a unique location in large hotel, and crazy event venue in amsterdam. at mövenpick we make moments, do you?be limitlessduring your shift you make sure everything runs appropriately. you are the connecting link between the rooms division manager and all the agents. if the team cannot solve a complaint or answer a question, you jump in to help. moreover, you help your colleagues where necessary, although you do not always stand behind the front desk. you do make sure – together with the entire team – that everything goes according to plan and that you neatly hand over the shift to the colleagues who take over at the end of your shift. in this way “the front office” is always kept up to date with the stay of our guests. administrative tasks are also on your plate, which include, processing and checking of payments, making the schedule, preparing guests ammenities. this you do together with the rooms division manager. no limits to your abilities. in addition, you are: the supporter of the reception. is it busy? then you jump right in! also, the helping hand of all the receptionists, by being a mentor through your guidance and trainings.  responsible for all administrative tasks involved in the front office.   this position has morning and afternoon shifts. the morning shift starts at 07:00 and the afternoon shift at 15:00, including a handover at the start of each shift. the night shift is outsourced and is therefore not part of your regular duties.proud to presentmövenpick: the place to enjoy life. inside, we create a space for our guests to enjoy by relaxing at the bar with a delicious cocktail or a creamy cappuccino. in our restaurants, you can discover the most delicious special dishes. we are originally from switzerland, and we carry this luxurious gastronomic hospitality with us. ‘enjoying life to the fullest.’ that is our mantra for our guests, but also for you as an employee. you provide that experience with a team of national and international colleague and the rooms division manager, in our beautiful 4-star hotel located in the city of the hague. with a beautiful atmosphere in our team, we help each other during busy moments so everything runs smoothly. you will work in a hotel with 72 rooms, a restaurant, coffee & wine lounge and 3 meeting rooms.  on a lovely, sunny day, you can choose between a 15-minute walk or a 10-minute cycle ride from the central station. or you can hop on the bus or tram from the other side of our hotel. in short: we have it all.“making our guests feel at home, is the perfect start or end of your day” – rooms division manager mövenpick don’t work. do what you love insteadthanks to your great sense of responsibility, you know what the team of receptionists need to fulfil their tasks.  you notice when your colleagues are overflowed with work and when it is busy, and you keep a cool head. with your empathy, you make sure the guests have a good stay, and that the reception is exceptionally helping them. this means that you also communicate with housekeeping, among others, if something extra is needed in a room. you know, therefore, who to contact to ensure good cooperation in the hotel for the best result for our guests. you must have: minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist in a hotel. preferably knowledge of the opera it system. fluent written and spoken knowledge of the english language, and preferably the dutch language as well. we offerof course, we want you to have an optimal experience at mövenpick. that’s why we are offering: a monthly gross salary of between €2.645 and €3.289 in accordance with scale 6 of the collective labour agreement for the dutch hospitality and catering industry. a contract of 38 hours per week. 25 leave days and time off for any overtime. extra day off during your birthday month. a travel allowance up to €200 per month, on the basis of the actual number of kilometres. a night-shift allowance of 20% pension contributions with the horeca & catering pension fund. national and international opportunities and (cross) training opportunities. a uniform, laundry service and meals. discounts on rooms, food and drink at mövenpick hotels & resorts, accor & revo hospitality group hotels. enjoy an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast in the hotel where you work at with feel like a guest mövenpick experience. recruitment bonus for a new colleague. sport facilities in the hotel. various staff outings. this is the right time to say yescan you already imagine the happy faces of the guests when everything runs smoothly at the front desk?
